Catch a wave with Chachalacas—a three-piece instrumental surf rock band that's equal parts reverb and reinvention. Featuring the warm thump of standup bass and the weeping twang of pedal steel guitar, this trio serves up the usual suspects of surf classics alongside some unexpected covers given the full surf treatment. Think Dick Dale meets the desert. Think spaghetti westerns by the shore. Come thirsty.

Albuquerque has never sounded quite like this. Born from the high desert and dreaming of the coast, this surf-rock band navigates the space where waves crash and shadows stretch long. Their sound is a shapeshifting blend of classic California surf, dark western noir, psychedelic jazz, sultry bossa nova, and tension-heavy spy themes. One moment you're floating on a Brazilian breeze; the next, you're hurtling through a chase scene in a 60s thriller. Original compositions sit alongside reimagined favorites, past and present.
